Get Your Darth Vader Fix with This LEGO Bust and Lightsaber

Reenact Darth Vader’s lightsaber duels, both old and new, with a LEGO saber from Bricker Builds. They also sell a kit for a life-sized bust of the Sith Lord. Vader fans and LEGO fans alike are getting great new content with Obi-Wan Kenobi episodes, but there’s always room for more. After all, according to the Sith code, “Through Passion, I gain Strength. Through Strength, I gain Power. Through Power, I gain Victory.” So passionate Star Wars nerds have already won.

The saber is a 756-piece kit that even beginners can assemble. There’s also a 659-piece version of the blue lightsaber that belonged to Luke, Anakin, or Rey depending on your trilogy preference. I assume it has fewer pieces because of the dimensions of the hilt, rather than the blade. The bust is a 2,905-piece kit that’s recommended for intermediate builders. So whether you are a Master or a Padawan, you can fulfill your destiny of harnessing the power of the dark side.

Bricker Builds sells more Star Wars kits, including life-size helmets for Boba Fett and Captain Rex. They also have instructions (but not the bricks) for other builds. They provide guidance on how to order the specific LEGO bricks you’ll need for each, as well as a complete parts list and estimated cost. It’ll set you back on average a few hundred dollars, but that’s nothing to the avid collector.

In the video below, the two lightsabers go against each other (gently) while inspirational movie quotes play. It’s enough to get any Star Wars fan excited enough to open up their wallet.

Personally, I’m contemplating the LEGO thermal detonator as a gift to myself.
