LEGO has given Harry Potter fans plenty to cheer about this summer, from showing new sets at San Diego Comic-Con to releasing the largest Wizarding World set ever. Each of these magical new sets come with minifigures of your favorite wizards, from Harry himself, to Dumbledore, to students you love or love to hate, and even Fantastic Beasts characters like Newt Scamander.
If you're wondering what to do with all those mini wizards, LEGO fan Daan de Ruijter has just the tutorial for you. He's created a Chocolate Frog Card LEGO set that you can make out of just a few special pieces, to keep your favorite witch or wizard where you'll always be able to find them.
Daan offers parts lists for download, complete with Bricklink ID, Brick Name (which you can use to find the individual bricks on LEGO's online store), and the quantity you'll need. Then Daan walks you through piecing the Chocolate Frog Card step by step.
As for the labels with the wizard's name, Daan explained on Instagram, "Writing is added with water slide decals. It's special paper you can print on, cut it out, use water to slide it on the LEGO piece and add a protective layer with a clear spray paint varnish."
This seems to be a quick and straightforward build, so even if it's your first time putting together an unofficial set, Daan's instructions don't require a magic spell to make it happen. You also don't need all the galleons in Gringotts to put a card together--one Instagram commenter estimated that all of the bricks plus shipping would cost $13.
Which witch or wizard would you make a Chocolate Frog Card for? Tell us in the comments.
