The Clown Prince of Crime is back. Only this time he’s not alone. He’s bringing a fellow Oscar-winner with him for his big screen return. The latest trailer for Joker: Folie À Deux celebrates the budding relationship between Joaquin Phoenix’s infamous villain and the new love of his life, Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn.
Director Todd Phillips’s followup to his 2019 film will see Joker and “ Lee” turning Gotham into their very own stage of song and dance. Or at least they will in their own minds. Their beautiful fantasy world is not one the rest of the city will get to enjoy. Everyone else will have to survive the fallout of living alongside one of the most dangerous pairs in all of pop culture.
In Joker: Folie À Deux trailer, Gaga’s voice takes center stage as her character says that when she saw the infamous clown, she didn’t feel alone anymore. It’s time for them to put on a show, indeed.

Joker: Folie À Deux finds Arthur Fleck institutionalized at Arkham awaiting trial for his crimes as Joker. While struggling with his dual identity, Arthur not only stumbles upon true love, but also finds the music that’s always been inside him.
The film also stars Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, Steve Coogan, and Harry Lawtey.
What Is the Release Date for Joker: Folie À Deux?
Joker: Folie à Deux will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September. It will then sing and dance its way into theaters the following month on October 4, 2024.
