IT: Welcome to Derry made its arrival with a legitimately scary and bloody first episode this week. The HBO Max prequel series is set to air its episodes on Sunday nights for good old fashioned weekly viewing. However, episode 2 of IT: Welcome to Derry will arrive a few days early for fans to enjoy it on October 31, which we all know is Halloween. You can watch this episode at 12AM PT/3AM ET when it hits HBO Max. The regular airing schedule for episode two will stay the same, meaning IT: Welcome to Derry will air on HBO on Sunday night at 9PM local time.
Of course, this is the only time that the airing schedule will be a bit off. But it totally makes sense to see what Pennywise is up to in Derry on Halloween. So far, we haven’t physically seen him in the series, but we feel his presence all the same.
That goes for the Stephen King universe overall, which shined through brilliantly in the pilot. Let’s see how Lilly, Ronnie, and the others deal with evil rising in their town once again.
