Last year, the theatrical adaptation of ItOpens in a new tab surpassed all expectations on its way to becoming the highest grossing horror film of all-time. However, the movie only told half of the story from Stephen KingOpens in a new tab‘s iconic novel.
The group of kids known as the Losers’ Club may have defeated Pennywise the ClownOpens in a new tab during the ’80s, but he’s returning to Derry in It Chapter TwoOpens in a new tab next year (read everything we know about the sequel so farOpens in a new tab). Andy Muschietti is once again at the helm for the sequel, and he’s brought together a dream cast to portray the Losers’ Club as adults. Now, Warner Bros. has announced the start of production by releasing a picture of the cast together at a script read.

From left to right, Jessica ChastainOpens in a new tab is stepping into the role of Beverly Marsh, with James McAvoyOpens in a new tab as Bill Denbrough, Isaiah MustafaOpens in a new tab as Mike Hanlon, Jay Ryan as Ben Hanscom, James Ransone as Eddie Kaspbrak, Bill HaderOpens in a new tab as Richie Tozier, and Andy Bean as Stanley Uris.
Additionally, Warner Bros. reiterated that Sophia Lillis, Jaeden Lieberher, Chosen Jacobs, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Jack Dylan Grazer, Finn Wolfhard, and Wyatt Oleff will also reprise their roles as the Losers’ Club from the first film. And of course, Bill SkarsgårdOpens in a new tab will be back as Pennywise, as he targets the adult Losers’ Club and their loved ones.
