A Halloween-Inspired Convention Is Coming to Las Vegas in October 2026

Halloween is undoubtedly the most wonderful time of the year. There’s something for everyone: cozy Fall flick, chilling horror movies, pumpkin carving, and so much more. We love Halloween so much here at Nerdist that we build an annual month-long celebration around it called Nerdoween. So imagine how happy we were to discover that there will be a Halloween-inspired convention coming to Sin City. According to Deadline, HallowScreamCon, a convention for fans of Halloween and creatives, will hit Las Vegas in October 2026.

Its organizer Screen Masters International dropped a teaser trailer for the event recently. The convention’s exact location is under wraps at this moment. But we assume it will take place somewhere on the city’s infamous Strip. Imagine the wild partying that will take place…

HallowScreamCon will run from October 1-4 to kick off spooky season. It will be “the world’s first global convention inspired by the spirit of Halloween” celebrating film, TV, games, comics, art, and so much more. This Las Vegas Halloween convention wouldn’t be complete without live attractions, including interactive mazes and other immersive experiences. And, if you wanna meet celebs from your fave scary films, they will be there too. Or, you can become a celeb in your own right and strut the Black CatWalk stage in front of judges.

“We envisioned HallowScreamCon as more than just a convention — it’s a global celebration of imagination,” said Kelly-Marie Warnell, CEO of Screen Masters International. “It’s where creators, dreamers, fans, and industry leaders come together in the spirit of Halloween to celebrate the limitless power of storytelling, innovation, and entertainment. Las Vegas provides the perfect stage for this groundbreaking experience, and we cannot wait to welcome the world in 2026.”

For the creatives among us, the convention will include a ScreamLabs pitching festival with industry executives and scouts. We aren’t sure about all the details behind that yet but it could be a chance for your brilliant idea to come to life one day. And, if you’re into cult classics and indie horror films, HallowScream SINema (fantastic name), will have open-air screenings of fan faves. There is truly something for everyone.

It will probably be a while before tickets go on sale. But, if you know you wanna go, it’s time to gather your coins and cosplay and get ready to have a scarily good time at a Halloween convention in Las Vegas.
