Monsters Go to War in Epic Clip from GODZILLA X KONG: THE NEW EMPIRE Celebrating Digital Release

Pink Godzilla” didn’t change the world, but he sure made it a lot better. That stylish, very large star of Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire helped make the film one of the MonsterVerse’s most memorable entries. Now he and his large work-friend are leaving behind the big screen for your TV. The movie is coming to digital on May 14 and to stores next month. To celebrate these two titans of cinema’s home release, Nerdist has your exclusive look at a clip from Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. It features one of the movie’s biggest, most fearsome battles. It’s an all-out war between Kong and Godzilla and two new dangerous foes, Hollow Earth’s Skar King and Shimo.

Ancient monsters go toe-to-tie in this action-packed clip from Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. If you’ve already seen the film in theaters, you know exactly what Godzilla, Kong, and co. are fighting about and why Kong is wearing a massive exoskeletal glove. You also know just how important that giant blue crystal is to everything that is happening. This scene definitely stands as one of the movie’s most important, exciting moments.

Don’t worry if you haven’t seen the movie, though. This Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire clip is just tantalizing enough without actually spoiling anything. (This is only a spoiler if, for some inexplicable reason, you didn’t expect big monsters to fight in a movie featuring Godzilla and King Kong.) It also doesn’t reveal the outcome of this fight and what it means for the future of the franchise.
