New GAME OF THRONES Mobile MMO Turns the World into Westeros

The Seven Kingdoms is a brutal and dangerous place to live, but we really wish we could. But since we’re unlikely to ever be accepted by the Dothraki, or to master the craft of smuggling fermented crab into King’s Landing, getting there could be tough. Fortunately, an upcoming new mobile game will let us experience what it’s like to wander Westeros and interact with some of its most famous players, and its already open for pre-registration.Developed by Turbine, Game of Thrones: Conquest is new MMO strategy mobile game from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and HBO Global Licensing, which they describe as a way to put “players at the head of their own powerful House, with the ultimate goal of navigating the dangerous political landscape of Westeros and claiming the Iron Throne.” In addition to leading your own house through the political murky waters of the Seven Kingdoms, and either forging alliances or doing battle with rival players, you’ll also see famous figures like Daenerys, Jon Snow, and Tyrion make appearances. The game will be available later this year on the App Store and Google Play, but you can pre-register now. Those who do will get “the Prepare for War Bundle, which will include exclusive Night’s Watch training gear, as well as gold and resources to aid in their fight for the Iron Throne.”You can follow for further updates or news at the game’s Facebook and Twitter accounts, or on its official forum. If we’re being honest, even if we could live in Westeros we doubt we’d survive very long there. It’s probably best if we visit with the wall of protection known as our phone’s off button. What would you do to try and win the Iron Throne? Tell us your strategy in the comments below.
