Is There an Insidious: Out of the Further Post-Credits Scene?

Yes, Insidious: Out of the Further does have a post-credits scene. It’s not a can’t-miss addition to the movie, but it certainly does deliver on one of Insidious: Out of the Further‘s biggest cinematic promises/threats.
What Happens in Insidious: Out of the Further‘s Post-Credits Scene?
In short, Insidious: Out of the Further finally coughs up that disgustingly delicious dentist horror that the movie teased throughout its run. Even the trailer for Insidious: Out of the Further promised us there would be some dental horror in the film. A promise that seemed all the more salient when we learned main character, Gemma, was a dental hygienist. And though we saw some GROSS dentist-related scenes throughout the movie, most of them cut off before they really got started. And that’s what Insidious: Out of the Further‘s post-credits scene is here to rectify.
In Insidious: Out of the Further‘s post-credits scene, the demon Cyrus gets his just desserts. After all, he let down a whole cult of demons when he couldn’t deliver on his promise to help them escape the Further into the real world. And one of those demons just happens to be a demon dentist. Cyrus wouldn’t let the demon dentist torment Gemma earlier in the movie, but he gets no such clemency now.
The demon dentist fires up his demon drill and jabs it RIGHT into Cyrus’ teeth in the Insidious: Out of the Further post-credits scene. There’s drilling, there’s screaming, there’s gross goodness. And that’s about the size of that. If you were waiting the whole movie for this dental debauchery… Good for you!
Insidious: Out of the Further is out now in theaters.
