Disney fans are in a tizzy to hear that the beloved ’90s classic The Disney Afternoon Collection is coming soon to the Nintendo Switch. Very soon, you’ll be able to play all of your timeless favorites and more. Atari and Digital Eclipse announced the exciting news Thursday morning. The updated collection features six classic games from the original. In addition, two new games join the party: Bonkers and Goof Troop. It’s a drop so good, we can hardly wait. And we won’t have to for long. The Disney Afternoon Collection launches exclusively on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on February 26.
Any Disney fans who grew up in the ’90s remember very well the feeling of rushing home from school to flip on the television and watch their favorite characters on screen. The Disney Afternoon Collection took those beloved characters and mashed them up with fun games. Nintendo is bringing them back for fans to revisit these classic memories.
Here’s What to Expect
The collection will include a total of eight nostalgic game: six from the original collection, and two new ones. Based on the animated series of the same name, Bonkers was first released in 1994. Goof Troop, a game where players solve puzzles with Max and Goofy, was released in 1993. Here’s a full lineup of the games included in the launch.

On top of an exciting array of games to choose from, the collection features some new upgrades. Players now have the option to rewind their game to try levels again. Each of the original games will also have a “Boss Rush” and “Time Attack” mode to take down bosses and speed-run games. As you play, you can jam out to the nostalgic soundtrack, as well as explore four different behind-the-scenes exhibitions in the Gallery section.
