Make Your Lips Savory with Chicken Tender Lip Balm

You could say chocolates have become the food most associated with Valentine’s Day and all its commercialization. And you wouldn’t be wrong. But what sustenance someone craves or finds romantic on the holiday is absolutely subjective. A&W Restaurants is betting that at least a few people are all about chicken tenders. They’ve announced a sweepstakes pushing forth their savory chicken tenders for a little tender loving, which we learned about from Design Taxi.

The giveaway offers some rather unique prizes: a body pillow replicating A&W’s Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders and tins of Tender Lovin’ Lip Balm. Yes, chicken tender lip balm. To achieve the exact flavor, A&W used some of their fryer oil in the batch. That’s weird, yes, but also probably moisturizing and quite delicious. No one tell A&W, but I’d totally purchase a tin of chicken tender lip balm. It seems like the kind of thing Rocket Fizz would stock near check-out for impulse buyers, and I’d fall for it.

I like chicken tenders, soft lips, and flavored lip balms. What’s not to love? I’m not going to abandon my vanilla or cherry lip balm for meat-flavored options anytime soon. But I’m just saying I’m not opposed to the concept. Especially if they packaged chicken tender lip balm with some BBQ flavored lip gloss.

I don’t mean to overlook the chicken tender body pillow. It’s made for cuddling with on the couch while you eat chicken tenders. And I’m sure you could find a way to make it smell like the tenders too.

Anyway. You have until Wednesday, February 17, to enter the sweepstakes. Just visit A&W Restaurant’s website. If you win, please promise to share some chicken tender lip balm with us?
