It’s hard to think of a time when LEGO and Star Wars didn’t go together like peanut butter and jelly. But LEGO and Lucasfilm have only been collaborating since 1999 when The Phantom Menace hit theaters. This means that 2024 is the 25th anniversary of the LEGO and Star Wars partnership. As a way of celebrating, LEGO released new 25th anniversary products. Some of these are now available to purchase. While others are coming soon. Additionally, the LEGO Group announced the LEGO Star Wars 25-Second Film Festival, which will kick off in March as part of the celebrations.
Among the 25th Anniversary LEGO sets are brand-new builds inspired by the Millennium Falcon and the Invisible Hand, General Grievous’ flagship from Revenge of the Sith. There are also two building sets inspired by the Tantive IV from A New Hope; and a special 25th anniversary edition set honoring the iconic astromech droid, R2-D2. Some sets will include collectible minifigures never seen before in LEGO form or anniversary tiles to mark the special occasion.

LEGO Star Wars Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator Set
Joining the LEGO Star Wars 25th anniversary celebrations is the Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator set. This set allows you to “recreate Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator and Bloodfin speeder, and play out Star Wars: The Phantom Menace scenes with this building toy for kids.” (Or whoever happens to be playing with it.) Additionally, the set comes with four Star Wars LEGO Minifigures, “Darth Maul, Anakin Skywalker and Qui-Gon Jinn, plus an exclusive LEGO Star Wars™ 25th anniversary Saw Gerrera minifigure with a display stand.”
The Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator Set costs $69.99 and releases on May 1.
LEGO Star Wars BARC Speeder Escape
The LEGO Star Wars BARC Speeder Escape set will give fans “everything they need to recreate the memorable Star Wars: The Mandalorian Jedi Temple flashback scene.” The set comes with Minifigures of Kelleran Beq, Grogu, and two 501st Clone Troopers. Needless to say, Grogu is adorable.
The BARC Speeder Escape Set costs $29.99 and releases on May 1.
LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon building set
