When most of us get that package in the mail from Amazon or wherever, we tend to throw the cardboard box away. We might keep a few for household items, or to send packages ourselves. But mostly, they go in the trash. Well, here’s something that might make you feel those decisions to toss those cardboard boxes were extremely wasteful.
Via Laughing Squid, we’ve discovered a five-minute video that shows off a huge marble run, one that is completely made out of cardboard. DanCreator of Cardboard Crafts made this DIY behemoth in approximately two months. The video starts with some electric guitar riffs playing, but ends with some old-timey Ragtime piano. Which just feels more appropriate for something as old school as a marble run. You can watch his video demonstration right here:
This marble run was the first cardboard creation that DanCreator shared with the world. But since then, he’s shared several more similarly amazing creations via his YouTube channel. And there are some decidedly nerdy ones on there. He made the Sword of Super Reincarnated Seraph Lucifer from the video game Puzzle and Dragons. There’s also a pair of rifles from the anime classic Gundam. And he even made a rapid-fire rubber band gun from Fortnite.

Perhaps DanCreator’s most impressive cardboard creations are the ones that are just regular, everyday items. These include a giant, workable air hockey table, and even a cup noodle vending machine. And yes, that vending machine is to scale. There’s even a very realistic cardboard soda fountain. And it works! We’re not sure where DanCreator got the knack for this, but everything we’ve seen from his channel so far has knocked the socks off of us.
