This year marks the thirtieth anniversary of the Tim Burton classic about everyone’s favorite “bio-exorcist,” Beetlejuice. Although it wasn’t Burton’s first film—that would be the eternally delightful Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure—in many ways it was the film that set the standard for what a Tim Burton movie is expected to be. Darkly comic, classically spooky, and with a visual style that involves lots of swirls and pinstripes. Without Beetlejuice, Michel Keaton would have never been our cinematic Batman, there would have been no Winona Ryder dancing in the snow in Edward Scissorhands, and we’d definitely have no The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Now, Warner Bros. Consumer Products is partnering up with Hot Topic stores for the official launch of an extensive Beetlejuice merchandise program timed to Warner Bros. Pictures’ rerelease of the fan favorite film in theaters around the world during the first weekend in October this year. Among all the cool new Beetlejuice merchandise is clothing, accessories, collectibles, home décor, beauty, and beyond, all available now at Hot Topic. For all the Funko Pop! fans out there, there will also be an exclusive: Funko Beetlejuice & Lydia Deetz Pop! figures, which are now available at Hot Topic stores and online.
Also included in this collection are Beetlejuice-themed beauty products, including a Handbook for the Recently Deceased eyeshadow palette. For non-makeup users who want the Handbook for the Recently Deceased displayed proudly in their home, there’s also a Handbook-themed notecard set.
