Gotta Catch These Beats: Beats x Pokémon Announce Collab

Power up your next adventure with the Beats x Pokémon collab. Both companies teamed up to release a special edition Beats Pill. The speaker features two fan favorite characters Pikachu and Mimikyu.

“This collaboration unites two brands rooted in culture, giving fans a new way to express their love of Pokémon through sound,” said Chris Thorne, Beats CMO.

Not to mention, the limited-edition Beats Pill is boxed in playful and interactive packaging. Each Pill comes with custom Pokémon charms, which is a first for Beats. And the charm set includes a poké ball, the Beats “b” logo, and a Pikachu inspired lightning bolt.

Additionally, the sound of this portable bluetooth speaker has an electrifying punch, much like the two strong Pokémon on its outside. The Beats Pill’s custom acoustic technology produces a loud, room-filling sound with a deep, rich bass. Listeners can wirelessly pair two Beats Pills in amplify mode or stereo mode. However, there’s still an option to plug in via USB-C to enjoy high-resolution lossless audio.

In addition, the accompanying USB-C connector, allows users can even charge a compatible phone straight from the speaker!

I approve of Beats decision to meet people where they are. Hopefully this marks the first of many collaborations, if it was up to me I would be holding on to a Spider-Man Beats Pill.

Nevertheless, fans can order online at apple.com or purchase at select stores in Target. And while you can’t catch ’em all, you can catch this collaboration on October 15!
