Have we not suffered enough in the 2020s? Must we really be plagued with Endgame Steve Rogers haunting the narrative once again? It seems we must, because the long-discussed Avengers: Doomsday trailer, which brings back Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, is finally here in high-def. And we don’t like it any more this time around. Whether you loved Avengers: Endgame‘s ending, or you loathed it (present company), we can all agree that’s what it was supposed to be. An ending. But it never will be again, because Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers is back to continue his story in the Avengers: Doomsday trailer below. Scroll down to watch the Avengers: Doomsday trailer in full clarity instead of squinting at blurry renditions on Twitter.
But what do we actually see in this Avengers: Doomsday trailer? Well, Steve Rogers is married. Yes, he’s married. Don’t miss it. As we said before, we see Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers on a motorcycle, pulling up to a quaint little house, and did we mention he’s MARRIED. He pulls out his worst Captain America suit, the Endgame edition, and looks at it nostalgically?, we guess. But he better not be too nostalgic about it because Sam Wilson is Captain America now. Of course, we must know that Steve has a baby. A baby that he may or may not have named after his best friend/ex that he ditched in the future, and is somewhere being tortured by Hydra in this timeline, as Steve stands in his living room. Sweet! To learn more about Steve Rogers’ children, you can check out our full breakdown about them here.

Remember, kids, if you thought that Steve Rogers was a rebellious rulebreaker who would go against the government on his own if he thought they were unjust. No, he’s not. The Avengers: Doomsday trailer needs you to know, he’s just a family man in the suburbs! The dream!
“Steve Rogers will return in Avengers: Doomsday,” the Avengers: Doomsday trailer tells us. But, we really wish he and Chris Evans would stay back in Avengers: Endgame, where they belong. We were promised an ENDING, and we were looking forward to that.
Avengers: Doomsday will release on December 18, 2026.
