Alamo Drafthouse to Show THE PITT Season 2 Finale in Theaters

HBO Max’s medical drama The Pitt became one of last year’s breakout hits for the streaming service. It engaged audiences in ways no medical-themed show had in years. The show, which stars Noah Wyle, follows doctors and other healthcare workers at the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center over the course of one shift. The Pitt mania is so high, that, according to Variety, HBO Max is partnering with Alamo Drafthouse for advance screenings of the season two finale. The screenings will take place on April 13 at ten different Alamo Drafthouse locations nationwide. This is just three days before the season finale episode drops on April 16.

Alamo Drafthouse is promoting these special screenings of The Pitt as “healthcare appreciation events.” The idea behind this promotion is to encourage current and former healthcare workers to attend the screenings. Although, maybe they’re the last people who want to revisit this kind of high-stress trauma in their off-hours. But we digress. In any event, tickets for these special screenings of The Pitt finale are available to all. Although admission to the screening is free, you can now reserve theater seats on the Alamo Drafthouse website. All you need is the purchase of a $10 concession voucher.
