Aaron Paul Joins FALLOUT Season 3 Cast

Fallout‘s first season instantly established it as one of television’s best. How did it live up to those expectations in season two? By adding one of television’s most acclaimed actors, as The Leftover‘s Justin Theroux joined the cast as Mr. House. He was one of the best parts of the show’s sophomore outing. So it only makes sense Prime Video is doubling down on that big famous talent strategy. Breaking Bad‘s Aaron Paul is headed to the wasteland for some dystopian fun on Fallout season three.

Prime Video announced three-time Emmy winner Aaron Paul will star in Fallout‘s third season. His unknown role will reunite him, under similar circumstances, with executive producer Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. Paul previously worked with them on their HBO series Westworld. He also joined that show in a leading role during its third season. This latest partnership between the three also fulfills Paul’s years long wish to roam the wasteland.

Aaron Paul’s casting was not the only Fallout season three news to come out of the announcement. Prime Video also said it elevated Annabel O’Hagan and Dave Register, who play Vault dwellers Stephanie Harper and Chet, to series regulars alongside Frances Turner. The series promoted her in season two, as Barb Howard played a much bigger part in the story’s flashbacks. O’Hagan and Register’s elevated roles (as well as Turner’s continued place on the show) are among our best clues yet about what to expect from Fallout‘s third season. We expect big fallout (ha!) from the Vault uprising that led Steph to contact the Enclave HQ.

That could also be where we’ll see Aaron Paul in Fallout season three. The Enclave has long been the video game series’ biggest villain group. It’s now set to be a huge part of Prime Video’s Fallout. It would make sense for the show to turn to a big star, one with a history of dealing with evil people, to be part of the Enclave’s story.
