TEEN TITANS GO! & DC SUPER HERO GIRLS Movie Clip Reveals Adorable Evil

If you’ve got kids under the age of 11 who love DC heroes, it’s not The Batman or the Arrowverse that brought them in. Nope, It’s very likely that it was the Teen Titans Go! and DC Super Hero Girls animated shows. Well, thanks to Multiversal shenanigans (which are all the rage these days) the Titans and the super girls’ worlds are about to clash, in the animated Teen Titans Go! & DC Super Hero Girls: Mayhem in the Multiverse movie.

You can watch a clip of this latest zany adventure across DC dimensions right here. And you can read the official synopsis below:

With the help of an ancient Kryptonian power, Lex Luthor unites the world’s Super-Villains to capture all of Earth’s Super Heroes, until … only the DC Super Hero Girls are left to stop the Legion of Doom. Our heroes must cross dimensions to rescue their fellow Super Heroes from the Phantom Zone, but a fortuitous wrong turn leads them to Titans Tower – where they find much-needed allies in the Teen Titans. The young Super Heroes discover their combined strength – and usual comic relief – are essential to save the day in this blockbuster event!

The clip above shows the latest iteration of the Legion of Doom. This secret society of super-villains was first introduced way back in Challenge of the Super Friends in 1978. Since their Saturday morning TV debut, they’ve appeared in shows like Justice League Unlimited. Not to mention animated films like Justice League: Doom. In the 2000s’ Justice League comics, the DC Universe proper finally got a version. But the Legion we meet here is appropriately goofy. Especially for a crew whose clubhouse looks like Darth Vader’s head coming out of a swamp.

And here’s a fun tidbit related to the clip of Lex Luthor’s big Legion meeting. In the original Super Friends cartoon, they meant for Catwoman to be the feline femme fatale for the Legion. But because they tied her rights up with a different cartoon, the creators used Wonder Woman villain Cheetah instead. So Catwoman and Cheetah have never been in the Legion together until now. Well, it only took forty years, but it’s about time those two cat ladies were on a team together!
