The Hong Kong-based artist partially assembled the NZ-999 Neo Zeong model from Gundam Unicorn and painstakingly painted it to match the iconic yellow of a Pikachu toy figure from Bandai. Would the NZ-999 NEO Pikachu fire arcing lighting bolts instead of exploding missiles from its turrets? Would it boom “PIKA” as it soars across the skies? Which other Pokémon would he clash with in their own custom Gundam mashups? We have so many wonderful questions that we definitely didn’t spend the last 20 minutes daydreaming about. Ahem.
Tse Kitse says in the image description: “just for fun,” “happy time,” and “smile please.” If his intention was to simply give Gundam and Pokémon fans alike a much-needed bit of joy, he absolutely accomplished that goal.
