Today’s Movie Morsels is jam-packed with a diverse assortment of devilish delights for film lovers of every persuasion — be they Jedi, Avenger, or Justice Leaguer. Yes, we’ve got the latest images from the Avengers: Infinity War, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and the Justice League movie. Plus, a closer look at that comic book art you saw in the Logan trailer, and much, much more!Avengers: Infinity WarAs much as I love good ol’ down-to-earth Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, I have just as much affection for his even more laid-back brother, Sean Gunn. The Guardians actor has shared a photo of himself sporting an Avengers: Infinity War baseball cap, and it all but confirms that the Reavers will make an appearance in the third Avengers film. It also confirms the film’s logo, which we’ll no doubt see much more of throughout the year…
[Instagram]Star Wars: The Last JediIn other Instagram photo news… Hot on the heels of the film’s title being revealed, director Rian Johnson shares a new pic from the edit bay of Star Wars: The Last Jedi in which he adds the title to that iconic opening crawl we all know and love. And look, Artoo’s keeping him company! Awww…
[Instagram]Justice LeagueJust what role will Superman play in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and why is he missing from so many photos of the titular team? (Including the latest one below.) The director offers some hints to Empire magazine. “Superman does play a big part in this movie,” he says. “His presence, and lack of presence, are big story points…”So does this mean we’re looking at some kind of Star Trek III: The Search for Spock scenario, with Supes’ body missing from his grave and his teammates looking for him for much of the film? By the way, Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Grimdark just racked up an impressive eight Razzie Award nominations, just one shy of Zoolander No. 2‘s haul!

[Empire Online]LoganHey, remember that bit in the latest Logan trailer where Wolvie flips through what looks like a late ’80s X-Men comic? It turns out the art in that comic was created by Marvel’s chief creative officer, Joe Quesada, who’s now offering a closer look at one of those pages and the process by which he created it…
Since this page is already public, as seen in the mind blowing Logan trailer, I’m guessing it’s okay… https://t.co/OCAgmZfz18

[Tumblr]A Woman of No ImportanceThe name’s Ridley. Daisy Ridley… It seems that our favorite new apprentice Jedi will soon be turning superspy. Daisy Ridley is attached to star in an adaptation of A Woman Of No Importance, a biography of American heiress turned secret agent Virginia Hall. After losing a part of her leg in an accident, Hall worked for the British intelligence agency SOE and OSS, which preceded the CIA — which made Hall a kind of real-life Peggy Carter. Ridley’s Force Awakens director J.J. Abrams — whose Alias featured its own female James Bond — will produce the film.[Deadline]Sundance Film Festival 2017Attention indie film lovers… Nerdist has been hard at work at this year’s Sundance Film Festival in Park City Utah, gathering interviews and writing reviews of many of the movies that have premiered.
