When Zack Snyder’sOpens in a new tab Justice League movie finally hits the big screen in November, it’ll feature not just one of DC Comics’Opens in a new tab royal women, but two: Wonder WomanOpens in a new tab, warrior princess of the Amazons, and MeraOpens in a new tab, queen of Atlantis, and wife of AquamanOpens in a new tab.
Now the folks at Mattel are revealing brand new Barbie dolls based on the badass ladies of the League, with the royal warriors featuring the likenesses of actresses Gal GadotOpens in a new tab and Amber HeardOpens in a new tab.
Inspired by the upcoming Warner Bros. live-action feature film, these fully articulated dolls are sculpted in each movie actor’s likeness and feature Barbie as the DC Expanded Universe’s royal superheroines. Each doll wears her signature costume from the film, and comes with accessories that remain true to their big screen inspirations. Both Wonder Woman and Mera will retail for $39.95 and will be sold individually this fall.
