Well, A24’s next film stars two people who have all of that and more. Zendaya and Robert Pattinson are an engaged couple whose wedding week goes off the rails in the trailer for The Drama.
The duo are taking photos and the photographer is trying to get them to relax. They not only seem tense, but also appear to not have any chemistry at all. This is weird because, well, they are getting married really soon. We get flashbacks to happier and giddy times between the two. But, leading up to their wedding, there are flashes of things going awry.
In signature A24 form, we don’t really know what’s happening here but it has a specific aesthetic and vibe. And, The Drama trailer suggests potential violence, which we love to see on screen.
