“Bodies” by Drowning Pool, with a slightly creepy start, is the perfect song to kick off the Yellowjackets season three trailer. It’s clear that the gloves are off in this sneak peek, during modern times, but especially in the past timeline. Murder is definitely on the menu in the wilderness… Maybe for survival, but maybe also for sport. Let’s just say it feels like the girls are realizing they need something to keep them warm and a little bit of turning gossipy dramas into full murder sprees and rituals could be exactly that.
Last season, Natalie was declared antler queen by the wilderness survivors, and Lottie stepped down from being the wood whisperer. But in this Yellowjackets season three trailer it looks like teen Shauna is already angling to take that crown from her. Will all the women wear it in time?
In the current time, murder also seems to be on someone’s mind. But it’s not yet clear who. Adult Van says “the only people that know about this are either us or dead.” But is that true? It sounds like someone wants to make sure everyone ends up dead.
The Yellowjackets trailer also gives us a look at a seemingly new character played by Hilary Swank in season three that we don’t know too much about. We also get to see Ghost Jackie played by Ella Purnell return for more ghostly fun, and we’re glad because Purnell crushes every role she’s in and Yellowjackets is no different.

When Is Yellowjackets Season 3 Releasing?
Yellowjackets season 3 will release on February 14 with the Paramount+ with SHOWTIME plan. The series will then have its on-air debut on Sunday, February 16 at 8pm ET/PT. Happy Valentine’s Day, lovers.
