Watch IRON MAN Armor Up Like SAILOR MOON

We’re all about mash-ups these days, from art to music to you name it – over the past few years, someone has taken pretty much every beloved pop culture property and mixed it up with another one to comedic effect. So it’s little surprise that someone out there decided to take Iron Man, Marvel’s second biggest superhero ever (sorry guys, Spider-Man is still the biggest), and smashed it together with the exuberant color and fabulousness that is ’90s anime classic Sailor Moon.

So who had this genius notion? A few years back, a group of first-year animation students at South Korea’s Chungkang College of Cultural Industries created the clip they called “Iron Moon” for a second semester project, which features Tony Stark getting into his famous armor in full on Sailor Moon style. Now, thanks to Machinima,  the Iron Moon video has been unearthed and is being shared on Facebook. You can check out the full “Iron Moon” clip down below:

Props have go to the students for their attention to detail when making this video. The video even opens with the original Sailor Moon logo, which is a nice touch. I’m not entirely sure what grade these Korean college students got for their project, but I’m inclined to give them an A.

What grade would you have given these students for “Iron Moon”? And what other Marvel heroes do you think would qualify for a great Sailor Moon mash-up? Iron Moon needs friends, after all. Be sure to let us know down below in the comments.
