THE VAMPIRE LESTAT Sets Summer 2026 Release Date Window

When will our fabulous, queer vampires return from the war? Fans of Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire/The Vampire Lestat wish to know more than anything. We got a taste of some of our favs when Talamasca: The Secret Order recently aired on AMC, but we’re ready for the whole dish. For a minute, it felt like The Vampire Lestat‘s release date was slated for spring 2026, when the cast appeared to tease April as a release month in blink and you miss them moments. (Which the fans did not miss.) But now, AMC has officially confirmed The Vampire Lestat‘s release date window. The Vampire Lestat will release in summer of 2026.

AMC has confirmed the summer release date window for The Vampire Lestat in several ways. But Nerdist‘s favorite is the sweetest of them. In a cute holiday mailer we recieved, The Vampire Lestat is listed as releasing in summer of 2026. In addition, the box shares, “the fan-favorite series starring Sam Reid as the world’s first truly immortal rockstar premieres summer 2026 on AMC and AMC+.” There you have it!

Alongside The Vampire Lestat‘s release date window, the holiday mailer also contained The Vampire Lestat chocolates, which tasted like Matcha Green Tea. That’s a popular flavor for a popular vampire. We greatly enjoyed sinking our teeth into Lestat and are even more excited to know when we can start getting REALLY excited for his return to our screens.

The synopsis for The Vampire Lestat shares: ““Resentful of the perfunctory portrayal in the trashy bestseller “Interview with the Vampire,” the Vampire Lestat (Sam Reid) sets his story straight in a way only the Vampire Lestat can—by starting a band and going on tour. Gabriella. Nicholas. Magnus. Marius. Those Who Must Be Kept. They join Louis, Armand, Molloy, Sam, Raglan, Fareed and others we can’t tell you about yet on a sexy pilgrimage across space, time and trauma. No Auto-Tuning. No Trigger Warnings. All Feels Amplified.
