The Last of Us season three will likely bring HBO’s successful video game live-action adaptation series to an end. We aren’t fully sure what we will see, but it is supposed to tell this ongoing saga through Abby’s perspective. And even though this could be the final round, there are more new faces joining the cast. Deadline reports that Jason Ritter and Patrick Wilson are joining the cast of The Last of Us season three in recurring roles.

We love the addition of Ritter, especially considering his real-life wife Melanie Lynskey previously portrayed an antagonist in this universe. While she was on the show, he had an uncredited role as a Clicker. Ritter will play a WLF soldier named Hanley. Meanwhile, Patrick Wilson has a small yet pivotal role as Abby’s father Jerry.
As far as returning cast, Tati Gabrielle, Ariela Barer, and Spencer Lord will become series regulars. They portray Nora, Mel, and Owen, respectively. We are beyond ready to see what happens in this next round.
