THAT ’90S SHOW’s Trailer Teases a Love Triangle and Famous Guest Stars

Young love is exciting, but not when it threatens to rip apart a group of friends. But that’s exactly what the teens on That ’90s Show are dealing with in the show’s newest trailer. It’s not all bad news for them, though. Nor for viewers. They’ll still have plenty of fun while we’ll get to see many of the famous 1990s stars that will be making guest cameos this year.

Netflix’s That ’70s Show spinoff kicks off its second summer vacation where last year’s left off. Here’s season two’s official synopsis from Netflix:

It’s 1996 and Leia Forman is back in Point Place for another summer of fun with her friends and grandparents, Kitty and Red. Leia and Jay are excited to be together again after nine months of long distance. But she’s on edge since Jay still doesn’t know she almost kissed Nate. Nate is concerned that his girlfriend, Nikki, doesn’t know either. How long can they keep this secret? Turns out, not long at all. And when the truth finally comes out, relationships are threatened, friendships are at stake, and the summer is on the verge of ending before it even gets started.

That ’90s Show stars Kurtwood Smith, Debra Jo Rupp, Callie Haverda, Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Acee Donovan, Reyn Doi, and Sam Morelos. Original stars Don Stark, Laura Prepon and Andrea Anders will also be heading back to Wisconsin this season. That’s where they’ll find a litany of guest stars. Season two will feature Will Forte, Seth Green, Lisa Loeb, Carmen Electra, Wayne Knight, Kevin Smith, Tommy Chong, Jason Mewes, Matt Rife, and Kadeem Hardison.

We will have to wait to see how this love triangle will work itself out. That ‘90s Show “Part 2” (as Netflix calls it) will premiere on June 27. “Part 3” will then arrive on the streamer in the fall on October 24. We don’t love having to wait, but it hopefully will give those kids more time to figure out their romantic interests.
