STRANGER THINGS’ Finn Wolfhard Brought His Band to Late Night TV

Between starring roles in Stranger Things and It: Chapter One, Finn Wolfhard seems to be poised on the cusp of a very promising acting career.

However, Wolfhard has grander ambitions than being an actor. Wolfhard is also a member of Calpurnia, a recently formed indie rock band out of Vancouver. Earlier this week, Wolfhard and Calpurnia were guests on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where they were given the chance to show off what they can do.

Within the band, Wolfhard performs the lead vocals and rhythm guitar, while Ayla Tesler-Mabe is lead guitar and also a vocalist. Jack Anderson plays bass, and Malcolm Craig rounds out the quartet on drums. “City Boy” was Calpurnia’s debut single earlier this year, and part of their first Extended Play, Scout.

After “City Boy,” Calpurnia performed another single for the JKL crowd: “Greyhound.”

It may be safe to assume Wolfhard is done filming Stranger Things 3, since Calpurnia’s late night debut coincides with the announcement of a tour for the band. Calpurnia’s tour is starting with sell out performances in Seattle, Boston, and even Tokyo. However, tickets should still be available for their shows in Montreal, San Francisco, Hamilton, Chicago, and Vancouver.

For more information about Calpurnia, you can check out their official site. You can also buy tickets for their upcoming appearances.
