Ahhhhhhh. The end of Stranger Things is neigh. We’ve already seen the first part of Stranger Things 5, the FINAL season of Stranger Things. And that means that Stranger Things‘ last episodes EVER are just around the corner. As we gear up to plunge into the end of the series we’ve loved so much, we’ve finally gotten our first details about a few more of its episodes. The Duffer Brothers have shared descriptions about Stranger Things final episodes, episodes five, six, and seven. According to the Duffer Brothers these Stranger Things 5 episodes are “locked, mixed, scored, colored… Volume Two is DONE.” Here’s what he Duffer Brothers revealed about some of the shows last episodes.
The Duffer Brothers Reveal Description of Stranger Things 5, Episode 5, “Shock Jock”

Here’s what the Duffer Brothers had to share about Stranger Things‘ final season episode, “Shock Jock.” Writing about episode five of Stranger Things 5, they revealed, “’Shock Jock’ picks up moments after the end of ‘Sorcerer’. Frank Darabont is back, but he flexes very different muscles on this one than he did on ‘Turnbow Trap’— it’s far darker, and far scarier.”
We love an episode that just keeps the story going AND we loved “Turnbow Trap.” But the words darker and scarier have us nervous about this chapter of Stranger Things‘ final episodes. We especially don’t love the name, Shock Jock. Because even though we know Shock Jock means “a radio personality/DJ who uses drama and (sometimes crude/controversial) humor to entertain fans,” it could also mean a jock gets shocked. And we love our jocks, Lucas and Steve.
The Duffer Brothers Reveal Description of Stranger Things 5, Episode 6, “Escape from Camazotz”

Next up, it’s Stranger Things 5, episode 6, “Escape from Camazotz.” Here, the Duffers reveal, “‘Escape from Camazotz’ is Shawn Levy’s return to the director’s chair. It’s the biggest episode of the three—and the performances make us cry every time we watch it.”
Oof, not the tears! Not the tears!!! We’ve come to understand that Camazotz means Henry/Vecna/One’s memory prison. So we assume in this episode, Max and Holly will fight their way out. But will their attempts be successful? We hope we’re crying happy tears.
The Duffer Brothers Reveal Description of Stranger Things 5, Episode 7, “The Bridge”

And then, it’s time for the Duffers to talk about the penultimate episode of Stranger Things 5 and Stranger Things, the series. Here’s how the Duffer Brothers describe Stranger Things 5, episode 6, “The Bridge.” They reveal, “’The Bridge’”… we co-directed this one with Shawn. Don’t want to say too much, but aside from the finale, it’s probably the most emotional chapter of the season.”
If we were crying in episode five, and episode six is even more emotional, we’re just not sure what we’re supposed to do with ourselves while watching. Not to mention, the Duffers PLUS Shawn Levy teamed up on this one? We know it has to be big.
