Starbucks’ Been There line of mugs has long been a fun way to commemorate different adventures in all your favorite places. And although we all love to travel when we can, the truth is many of us visit fantastical realms and galactic planets regularly through the media we enjoy. As with any Been There mug, these Star Wars editions recreate scenes from and symbols of the places they represent. Flying over to Coruscant, we see Yoda take center stage as Mace Windu wields his purple lightsaber. “The entire planet is one big city,” the mug reminds us as it offers us a look at the dark and light sides of the Force. Jakku Been There Star Wars Starbucks Mug
On the Jakku Starbucks mug, we catch glimpses of Rey, Finn, BB-8, and more. And it dryly asks, “Why does everyone want to go back to Jakku?!” That’s a good question; we can’t say there’s much to recommend the planet. But as the mug shows us, we’ve all certainly had our fair share of adventures there. We don’t know if she’ll go back to Jakku again, but we will see Rey sooner rather than later in the Star Wars world. So why not celebrate her beginnings?
