At Least One STAR WARS REBELS Character Survives Until RETURN OF THE JEDI

The fates of the characters in Star Wars Rebels are on the minds of fans more than ever as the animated series comes to an end. But now, we can all enjoy a little peace of mind when it comes to Hera Syndulla and Chopper, a.k.a. the best droid ever. LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures put Hera further on the original trilogy timeline past the mention of her name in Rogue One, but now, a new Forces of Destiny short shows us General Syndulla, ace pilot and all around badass, makes it to the Battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi. And she shares the screen with Han Solo. Just watch:

One important takeaway: Ewoks are still trying to eat humans for dinner. They almost devoured their enemies in “The Imperial Feast,” but Leia–excuse me, General Organa–stopped them and sent Han to get ration sticks from Hera.

Aside from being joyful about Hera being on Endor and hearing Han admit the Ghost is superior to the Millennium Falcon, I’m also thrilled about the voice actor for Han, A.J. LoCascsio. He’s a spot-on match. And then there’s this delightful little moment that’s a direct callback to Yoda throwing Luke’s ration sticks in The Empire Strikes Back:

I can’t help but wonder how long Hera lives. Does she continue her fight against the Empire to the Battle of Jakku? Does she make it even further? I need to know.

Are you pumped to see Hera on Endor? Do you think any other Rebels characters made it as far on the timeline? Let me know your theories in the comments or hit me up on Twitter at @amy_geek.
