Learn How to Knit Tiny STAR WARS Villains Sweaters

This has been quite the year for learning new hobbies. Making sourdough bread starters, learning all about canning and preserves, and taking up painting are just some of the new creative outlets I’ve seen friends explore. And Insight Editions has just the new book to add fuel to our hobby-seeking fires with Star Wars: Knitting the Galaxy. The official Star Wars knitting pattern book comes to us from Tanis Gray. It features over 25 projects that come from across the saga. And today we have an exclusive festive pattern from the upcoming book that is perfect for the holidays. Grab your knitting needles and get ready to make tiny sweater ornaments featuring Star Wars villains.

The “villainous mini sweater ornaments” feature some of the scariest baddies in the galaxy. We’re not sure if they should be cute, but they definitely are. Somehow. The sweaters depict Darth Maul, Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Kylo Ren, and a stormtrooper. All you need to do in order to hang them on your Christmas tree or from garland is add hooks. And though it’s not their intended purpose, you could probably carefully slide these cuties onto small toys too.

The below exclusive comes with all the instructions and patterns you need. ‘Tis the season to put sweaters on the tree.

This is, of course, but a single pattern from Knitting the Galaxy. Other projects include porgs, an Ewok hood, and droid throw pillows. You can even learn how to knit a vest in the style of the one Princess Leia wears on Hoth. You know, the vest that’s part of Leia’s best costume.

Star Wars: Knitting the Galaxy arrives on January 26, 2021. You can place a pre-order now.
