Spider-Man: Brand New Day will swing into theaters this summer and we cannot wait to see Peter Parker back on the big screen. After months of knowing little to nothing about this film, we finally got a trailer that introduced new villains and showed our friendly neighborhood hero going through it. Poor guy. The Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer struck an obvious chord with so many people who watched it and made history with nearly 719 million views in its first 24 hours, which makes it the most viewed trailer in motion picture history.
According to Deadline, that figure far surpasses Deadpool & Wolverine’s trailer, which racked up 373 million views in one day. So Marvel and Sony can expect to make a lot of money when Brand New Day hits theaters on July 31. This film will take place four years after No Way Home. Tom Holland’s Peter Parker lives in solitude and is working full-time as Spider-Man. I wonder how he pays his bills in NYC without a paycheck. But something begins to go awry with his powers and things intensify as new threats come to town.

July is going to be a major month for Holland, who will also star in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey film. That film will be released on July 17. Until then, we will keep running the numbers up for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the most watched trailer in 24 hours… for now. Let’s see how long it holds on to that title, especially with Avengers: Doomsday coming later this year.
