San Diego Comic-Con 2024 was, as always, a whirlwind of news, panels, comics, and fun. After all of that, folks needed a place to go to kick back, relax, get a drink, and mingle. Friday evening, July 26, Nerdist was thrilled to be part of the Nightowl Society industry mixer. The party took place at the San Diego House of Blues Delta Room, presented by IDW Publishing and Threadless. We presented the step-and-repeat along with co-sponsors War Machine Marketing, Artist Flags, Insomnia Audio, Xero One Media and Nightowl Studios.
The evening was a dazzling display of creativity and camaraderie, underscoring Threadless’s unwavering commitment to supporting the artist community at Comic Con and beyond. “This party isn’t just about entertainment—it’s a tribute to the incredible talents whose works inspire all of us,” remarked Jake Nickell, Threadless CEO and founder.
The collaboration with IDW Publishing and Nightowl Studios for this exclusive gathering was a strategic move to highlight the synergies between comic art and the expressive apparel and accessories that Threadless is renowned for. “Our goal is to help artists bring their art to life and connect with both fans and professionals who appreciate and champion creative expression,” added Nickell.
Photographs from the event captured the unique spirit of the gathering—a place where art comes to life and where every conversation sparked inspiration.
