It is always fun to see our favorite actors from genre entertainment in something that’s a little more removed from our usual wheelhouse. For example, we loved seeing Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega go up against killer unicorns in Death of a Unicorn. We love a thespian with lots of range. It is even better if there is more than one familiar face and they get to completely unravel onscreen together. That’s what we get with Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Lawrence in Die, My Love’s very strange trailer.
Of course, we know Pattinson from the Twilight franchise and, more recently, as the Dark Knight himself. And Lawrence joined the superhero world long ago as Mystique and many folks love her as Katniss Everdeen. In the Die, My Love trailer, they are Grace and Jackson, a married couple with a new baby who move from New York City to Montana for a quieter life.
But that move proves to be detrimental for Grace’s mental well-being and it shifts their marriage into a potentially dangerous space. Lawrence and Pattinson have some, uh, interesting interactions with each other throughout this clip. We are curious about what will happen in this film, especially after it got lots of love at Cannes earlier this year.
