Of course, this trailer also reminds us what’s at the heart of Avatar: The Last Airbender, live-action or not. And that’s the power of friendship, love, and the hope we have in our hearts.

Let’s take a look.

We’re thrilled to see hallmarks of the series we know and love come to life in this adaptation, although we know the story may be remixed and reimagined a bit. Who is behind the mask of the Blue Spirit? Well, cartoon Avatar: The Last Airbender fans will know, but isn’t it exciting that a whole new generation of viewers will find out for the first time in the live-action?

If nothing else, we’re relieved to find that Momo is as cute as ever. And that live-action June, the bounty hunter, is every bit as fierce as her cartoon counterpart.
