Wizards Mashes Up MAGIC: THE GATHERING and MY LITTLE PONY

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic: The Gathering is the magical mashup you never knew you needed.

In a special team-up to benefit the children’s charity Extra Life, Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast are releasing a limited edition Magic: The Gathering set called Ponies: The Galloping. Magic fans in North America will find the highly collectible three-card set and play mat set available on Hasbro Pulse from October 22 – November 5, and a donation of $30 per card set will be made to Extra Life benefitting Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Celebrating the October 12 series finale of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Magic: The Gathering’s Extra Life event on November 2, the jewel-toned trading card set features three silver-bordered cards with Princess Luna/Nightmare Moon, Princess Twilight Sparkle, and Rarity. (The cards are not legal in tournament play.) The artwork by Andrea Radek, Jennifer L. Meyer, and John Thacker expertly blends the painterly Magic style with the colorful whimsy of My Little Pony.

You’ll also find a Ponies: The Galloping playmat set by Ultra PRO at Hasbro Pulse at a retail price of $100, with $80 of each purchase donated to Extra Life.
