Magic: The Gathering x Marvel Super Heroes: The Largest Collab Collection Yet

We’ve been excited for Marvel and Magic: The Gathering‘s many collaborations ever since we first heard at this epic team-up. We’ve already gotten an amazing Spider-Man set, as well as five truly incredible Secret Lair drops. And now, the biggest collaboration yet between Marvel and Magic: The Gathering is coming our way on June 26, 2026. To get us excited early, Magic: The Gathering shared a major sneak peek at many cards from its new Marvel Super Heroes Set, which spotlights The Fantastic Four, The Thunderbolts*, The Avengers, and more. Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes promises to be the BIGGEST release in Marvel x Magic collab line-up yet, with a ton of new cards and more. The official description of the set certainly makes it sound like it will be epic. Magic: The Gathering shares of the Marvel Super Heroes release, “The worlds of Magic: The Gathering and Marvel collide in an epic crossover filled with legendary characters, powerful abilities, and the unmistakable energy of comic book storytelling. From Captain America, Super-Soldier, to The Sentry, Golden GuardianBruce Banner // The Incredible Hulk, and Quicksilver and Brash Blur, the set captures the full spectrum of Marvel’s rich tapestry of heroes. But where there are heroes, villains are never far behind. Fans can also expect to see some of Marvel’s most notorious masterminds, including Baron Helmut Zemo, Super-Skrull, and the ruler of Latveria himself, Doctor Doom—making their Magic debut.”

Marvel super villains AND super heroes coming to Magic: The Gathering‘s world? It doesn’t get more super than that. Magic additionally notes this release will have “unforgettable characters, dynamic artwork, and thrilling new mechanics.”

Multiple commander decks are landing for the Magic: The Gathering | Marvel Super Heroes and they contain some incredible cards. Today, we have a sneak peek look at one of these upcoming decks, the commander deck featuring Marvel’s First Family—the Fantastic Four. And yes, Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing can all take charge as face commanders.
