Cue the Avatar: The Last Airbender theme music because season two is on its way. Netflix has officially revealed that its live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series will return for season two in 2026. We don’t have an official release date yet, but that’s pretty exciting news. All our favorite series are coming back from the Spirit World to join us on our screens. But Avatar: The Last Airbender won’t just fly or flow onto our screens for season two. No, it’s about to STOMP. As the new Avatar: The Last Airbender trailer reveals to us, live-action Toph has ARRIVED. And she and her powers look, yes, AMAZING. You can watch the full Avatar: The Last Airbender season two trailer below.
It’s time for some EARTH BENDING, BABY! Like we’ve never seen it before. Toph has arrived, and she is ready to kick some butt and take some names because her bending is majorly awesome. Netflix’s live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series has done an excellent job capturing all kinds of bending and bringing them into a more realistic place, and Toph’s powers are no different. We also love the way Toph’s senses are depicted in this Avatar: The Last Airbender season two trailer. The way Toph understands the world around her through her bending and her connection to the Earth really comes through. Welcome to the Gaang, Toph.

Of course, there’s more than just Toph in this live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender season two trailer. We see many different moments from Avatar: The Last Airbender, Book Two: Earth. Importantly, these include Zuko rocking his new good-ish guy hair as he and Uncle Iroh have their sojourn in the Earth Kingdom. (Yes!!!)

We see the Gaang heading to The Serpent’s Pass… which means somewhere Zuko and Jet are having a meet-cute. (Double Yes!!!) And we also see the giant serpent… who does not look happy, but does look hungry. Appa and Momo are back, of course. (Although there could be tragedy awaiting, Appa… Noooo!)
And what’s that, yes, it’s Azula crackling with lightning in the Avatar: The Last Airbender season two trailer. If you’ll recall, in the live-action world, Azula just took over the Earth Kingdom city of Omashu, which did not happen in the cartoon series. Mai, Tai-Lee, and Suki also make appearances.

But, ultimately, it is Toph who is the hero in our first trailer for live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender season two. And we love her! Go Toph!
As mentioned, Netflix’s live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender season two will release in 2026. You can stream season one on Netflix right now.
