LEGO is kicking off its inaugural Star Trek collection with a legendary ship. The LEGO Group and Paramount Products & Experiences have announced their first set is the Icons Star Trek: U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D. That’s the version of the beloved Federation ship that originally appeared on Star Trek: The Next Generation. (And recently made a triumphant return.)
The 3,600-piece LEGO Star Trek Enterprise set includes nine wonderful mini-figures to crew the set: Captain Jean-Luc Picard, Commander William Riker, Lieutenant Worf, Lieutenant Commander Data, Dr. Beverly Crusher, Lieutenant Commander Geordi La Forge, Counsellor Deanna Troi, Bartender Guinan, and Wesley Crusher. The mini figures also come with their own signature items. That includes a teacup for some hot Earl Grey tea, trombone with stand, phaser, tricorder, engineering case, PADD, bottle, portable tractor beam generator, and Spot the cat.
The highly detailed set also comes with a detachable command saucer, secondary hull, and warp nacelles with “distinctive red and blue detailing.” It also boasts an opening shuttlebay and two mini shuttlepods. And the LEGO set comes with an angled display stand that has am information plaque for the Star Trek ship.

They won’t last. At all. This is a partnership that should have set sail long ago. Now that it’s finally setting out, no Star Trek or LEGO fan will want to be left behind.
