This year marks the 25th anniversary of Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. Fathom Entertainment and Warner Bros. celebrated the momentous occasion earlier this month by bringing the iconic films back to the big screen for a limited run. Don’t worry if you missed it. You can still revisit The Shire with an HBO Max subscription. In the meantime, LEGO is bringing a double dose of Sauron with its latest Lord of the Rings collectible set featuring his helmet.

The set includes a giant bust of Sauron’s helmet, so you can recreate the menacing Dark Lord in all his glory. Along with it is a much smaller collectible minifigure, clutching none other than The One Ring. The 538-piece set comes with a display piece and name plaque, perfect for any Lord of the Rings collection.
The Lord of the Rings: Sauron’s Helmet LEGO set arrives on March 1, which fans may recognize as Aragorn’s birthday. Priced at $69.99, it falls under the mid-range of all that LEGO has out there. And between some truly marvelous sets of The Shire and Rivendell, there are some very expansive (and expensive) ones out there. You can preorder the glorious Sauron set now.

If you’re still itching for more Middle-earth, oh boy, does Warner Bros. have a treat for you. Production for The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum is very soon to be underway. Filming starts in New Zealand in just a few months. The new addition will see the return of Elijah Wood as Frodo Baggins and Ian McKellen as Gandalf. Andy Serkis will direct and reprise his role as Gollum. The Hunt for Gollum releases on December 17, 2027.
