JOHN WICK Returns to Movie Theaters for 10th Anniversary, Will Preview BALLERINA Spinoff

People keep asking if he’s back…Well yeah, I’m thinking he’s back. Who? Well, of course, John Wick is BACK. Okay, we’re not talking about a new installment to the John Wick franchise, but it is time to get excited for a re-release of the film that started it all. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Keanu Reeves-led action franchise, John Wick will return to movie theaters in early November.

The original John Wick film introduces us to the vengeful assassin as a group of mysterious men steal his Mustang and kill his Beagle puppy given to him by his deceased wife. This leads Wick to exit his retirement to avenge his losses. And it leads us into an exciting franchise that has gone way beyond just one movie.

John Wick will screen in movie theaters nationwide for two nights only. You can catch it on the big screen on November 3 and 6. But that’s not all you’ll see if give John Wick another whirl (or a first go) in theaters. Included with the screening is an exclusive sneak peek at the franchise’s upcoming spinoff film, Ballerina. Ana de Armas stars in Ballerina, which follows John Wick’s character, Eve Macarro, as she learns the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma.

The John Wick universe is expanding, so it’s fitting time to get the film that started it all back in movie theaters. In addition to Ballerina, there is also another spinoff film in the works right now about Donnie Yen’s assassin character, as well as a new series, John Wick: Under the High Table. Additionally, a John Wick experience is opening in Las Vegas later this year.

I will definitely avert my eyes during the Beagle’s demise, but otherwise, my eyes will be glued to Reeves’ crazy stunts. Tickets for John Wick‘s return to movie theaters are available to purchase on the Fathom Events website.
