Over a decade ago, Georgia Moffett made her Doctor Who debut as Jenny, the daughter of David Tennant‘s Tenth Doctor. This was somewhat ironic since Moffett is actually the daughter of Peter Davison, the actor who portrayed the Fifth Doctor. Moffett even went on to marry Tennant and remained a part of the Doctor Who community even though Jenny never reappeared on the TV show. But thanks to Big Finish, Georgia Tennant’s Jenny is finally headlining her own audio adventure this month. The recently released trailer for Jenny – The Doctor’s Daughter reintroduces the title character and teases a few of the new faces she will encounter on her journey.
Although Jenny briefly appeared to die in “The Doctor’s Daughter,” she revived and decided to follow in the footsteps of her father as an explorer. She went off to save people and confront monsters without any real idea of how to do it beyond her Time Lord instincts and her innate bravery and intelligence. That’s where the Big Finish stories will pick up, as Jenny meets a young man named Noah (Sean Biggerstaff), who becomes her first companion.Jenny will also get some “help” from the fast-talking Garundel (Stuart Milligan) while avoiding the cyborg known as COLT-5000 (Siân Phillips) as she attempts to hunt them down. Along the way, Jenny will encounter the Ood, travel to Earth, start a revolution, and find a space station that may hold the answers that she’s hoping to find. Check out Big Finish’s official site for information about Jenny – The Doctor’s Daughter, which will be released this month.
