It’s official. Invincible is returning to Prime Video for a fourth season. Fans already got a taste of what the new season has in store back in October when the teaser trailer dropped at the 2025 New York Comic Con. Earlier today, Prime Video shared some killer first look images in what’s shaping up to be possibly the darkest season yet. In addition, some big names are set to join the cast, including the MCU’s Danai Gurira.

The dark adult-animated superhero series left off with an emotional, violent end for protagonist Invincible/Mark Grayson. Season four promises even higher stakes. With dangerous new villains comes bigger battles, ultimately culminating in an all-out cosmic war. The first look images above give us just a glimpse. Invincible (Steven Yeun) squares off against Dinosaurus (Matthew Rhys) and Atom Eve (Gillian Jacobs) delivers a powerful right hand to Universa (Danai Gurira).
Gurira reunites with her former costar Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead‘s Glenn) to voice the green-skinned alien warrior. Foundation actor Lee Pace joins the cast as Thragg, while fan favorites Nolan/Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons) and Allen (Seth Rogen) return to battle.
Additional cast includes Sandra Oh, Walton Goggins, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Jason Mantzoukas, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Zachary Quinto, Chris Diamantopoulos, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, Ben Schwartz, Clancy Brown, Jay Pharoah, Mark Hamill, and Melise Jow.

Invincible Season Three is Prime Video’s most-watched animated season of all time. The critically-acclaimed series has already been renewed for season five, meaning there’s a lot more in store for the future of Mark Grayson and company. We can hardly wait.
