The upcoming book is split into two parts. The first part is “a fresh retelling” of the movie (which is interesting since a reimagining of Hocus Pocus is in the works as a TV movieOpens in a new tab), while the second part goes into sequel territory. Besides spending time with Max and Allison and their kid, we’ll get to hang out with Dani Dennison again. I know Dani has grown up, but I hope she’s retained all her sass.c

Hocus Pocus and the All-New Sequel will be out on July 10, just in time for the film’s 25th anniversary.

Are you looking forward to meeting an adult Max Dennison? What do you hope to see from the sequel? Let us know in the comments.
