For Star Wars fans, the years 1984-1990 were known as “the Dark Times.” We had nearly no new Star Wars movies, games, comics, or anything during those years. Star Wars felt like a relic of the past. Then, in 1991, the story finally continued in Timothy Zahn’s novel Heir to the Empire. Most famously, that novel introduced Grand Admiral Thrawn to Star Wars lore. Even with the end of the old Expanded Universe continuity, key elements of it, like Thrawn, remain. Now, Hasbro is releasing a collector’s 3-pack based on Heir to the Empire in Spring 2025 as part of its Star Wars The Vintage Collection. This 3-pack features Thrawn, his loyal acolyte Captain Pellaeon, and fallen Jedi Master Joruus C’baoth.

They’ll be available at this link specifically. Then later, the set goes up for all fans beginning at 2 PM ET. The retail price for this collector’s item is $49.99. The set itself should become available in Spring 2025 and will arrive to the Disney Store on a later date.
