Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are back for yet another round. We knew that the Harley Quinn animated TV show would return for season three. And we knew our fave GFFs would arrive during the summer for some sinister and hilarious fun. But we finally have a date and a fun new clip to explore what will happen in this third round. Harley Quinn season three will drop on July 28 on HBO Max and the new trailer is super fun.
The girls are on an “eat, bang, and kill tour” with some wild stuff happening. Of course, this is a direct reference to the six-issue comic book of the same name. In it, Harley and Ivy go on a road trip cross-country while on the run from Gordon, who has lost his mind completely while trying to track them down. And Batman is there to try to thwart their good fun because he hates joy. There’s the apparent kidnapping of Amanda Waller. Someone that Harley doesn’t see as threatening because, well, she’s wearing a pencil skirt. Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy kiss, get bloody, fight, and are just all-around the best together in this season three preview. They are the duo we truly deserve.
As Poison Ivy says in the Harley Quinn trailer, “It’s so fun and then raunchy and then a little scary.” Except we want to see more of the raunchy, please. The show promises a wetter, filthier, and squishier season, so we should get exactly what we are hoping for. And of course, it wouldn’t be a Harley Quinn party without the likes of Batman, the Joker, and more. Oh yeah, there’s an orgy. Only time will tell how it measures up to Herogasm. Between season three and the Noonan’s bar spinoff, we are getting all the great Harley content.
