Listen, we all agree that Channing Tatum should have his own solo MCU Gambit movie. And we’re really glad he’ll be back for Avengers: Doomsday. But suddenly, we find ourselves asking, do we even need Avengers: Doomsday? The most perfect team-up already happened, and it was in this Dunkin’ ad for its new Avengers: Doomsday menu. Yes, we’re talking banter between Tatum’s Gambit and The Fantastic Four‘s H.E.R.B.I.E. as they come together to celebrate Avengers: Doomsday, with Gambit charmingly oblivious and H.E.R.B.I.E. giving him the sass. I’ll ask again: do we even need Avengers: Doomsday when this team-up already exists?
Dunkin’ knew what it was doing when it hired H.E.R.B.I.E. to star in the ad for its new Avengers: Doomsday menu… And we guess Channing Tatum’s Gambit was important too. Together, this squad of two really makes our whole day. Even though it’s clear H.E.R.B.I.E. is ready for Gambit to stop talking to him. Where are his normal friends?! Why is this munchkin eating bozo not listening to sense and getting ready for a major multiverse incursion?! It’s hard to be H.E.R.B.I.E.
Although, to be fair, it’s hard to know if H.E.R.B.I.E. is saying there’s about to be a multiversal incursion in this Avengers: Doomsday Dunkin’ ad… or if he wants Doctor Doom and the Avengers to just kiss. Either one seems pretty valid to us.
