BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER Star Gives Us THE SHINING Realness in New Parody Video

So who’s become the best member of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast when it comes to a social media presence? If you say Sarah Michelle Gellar, then I’m sorry, but you’re wrong. No offense to the Chosen One or any other Sunnydale High School alumni, but the honor goes to actor Tom Lenk. Lenk, who played former nerd villain turned sympathetic Scooby gang member Andrew Wells, really has that entire cast beat when it comes to Twitter awesomeness.

Lenk has been killing us all lately with his DIY recreations of celebrity fashions—he calls himself a “Low price HI FASHUN icon”—and his parody of The Huntsman: Winter’s War with fellow former Buffy alum Eliza Dushku was 10 times better and more watchable than the movie itself. He also got a nice little bit in Joss Whedon’s recent “Get Out and Vote” celebrity video, before being upstaged by that Robert Downey Jr. guy.For his latest parody, Tom Lenk has decided to put his spin on a certain iconic scene from Stanley Kubrick’s horror classic The Shining, and just in time for Halloween. Lenk plays not only young Danny Torrance, but also the infamous ghost “twins” that meet Danny one day in the hallway of the Overlook Hotel while he’s riding his big wheel around. (Side note: the twins in the movie aren’t actually twins; one is older than the other. First sign your dad might be a psycho ax murderer? He dresses his non-twin daughters up in identical outfits. Okay, end of tangential rant.)
